| Administering body | Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) — exam delivered by PSI Services LLC GREC has contracted with PSI to conduct the exam and to issue licenses at PSI test centres to candidates who pass. To sit the salesperson exam, a candidate must first complete the 75-hour Salesperson Prelicense Course at a GREC-approved school (or an accepted college or out-of-state alternative); a 25-hour postlicense course is due in the first year of licensure. | Questions | Not published by GREC / PSI The bulletin has a national portion and a Georgia portion. Its Georgia salesperson outline lists 52 items (16 + 21 + 15), and a sample score form in the bulletin shows 100 national and 52 Georgia items, 152 in all — but that form is an illustration dated 2002, and no current statement of the exam's length is published. It also allows 1 to 10 unscored experimental items that count against exam time. | Time limit | Not published by GREC / PSI Neither the PSI bulletin nor GREC's licensing pages state how long the salesperson exam lasts. The bulletin says only that the on-screen tutorial (up to 15 minutes) does not count as exam time and that candidates should arrive 30 minutes early. | Passing score | Not published by GREC / PSI GREC Rule 520-1-.04(3)(a) says the passing score is set by “psychometrically sound criterion-related methods” and “shall be published prior to the administration of the examination”, but no figure appears in the rule, the PSI bulletin or GREC's licensing pages. Your score is shown on screen at the end. A failed exam may be rebooked from the next day, and a pass must be followed by a license application within 12 months or the exam must be retaken.
