Passing scoreScaled score of 70 on a 0–100 scale

On each exam, general and Kansas. The handbook says the scaled score is neither the number nor the percentage of questions answered correctly. A passed exam need not be retaken; the failed one must be passed in time for KREC to receive the complete application within 6 months of the earlier exam date. Re-exams can be booked after 24 hours.

Fees
  • $70 — Exam fee, per exam scheduled (general or Kansas); booking both on the same day gets the two-for-one combination price (Pearson VUE, per attempt)
  • $15 — Pre-licensure application fee, non-refundable (Kansas Real Estate Commission, one-time)
  • $125 — Licensing fee, submitted with the license application within 6 months of the exam date (Kansas Real Estate Commission, one-time)

The handbook also lists an unlabelled $70 fee submitted with the $15 application fee and fingerprints, and a $16 fee for digital fingerprinting at a Pearson VUE test center; it does not say what the $70 covers, so it is not itemised. KREC's own website could not be read to check these.

Languages offeredNot published by KREC / Pearson VUE

None of the Pearson VUE documents listed states the languages the exam is offered in; they were searched for “language”, “English” and “Spanish”, and the only hit is that identification must be in English. KREC's page could not be read. PrepPass therefore names no exam language.
