| Administering body | Nevada Real Estate Division (Department of Business and Industry) — exam delivered by Pearson VUE Candidates register and pay on the Division's website first, then schedule with Pearson VUE, at a test center or online (OnVUE). Pre-licensing education is 120 hours: 45 hours Real Estate Principles, 45 hours Real Estate Law (including 18 hours of Nevada law), 15 hours contracts and 15 hours agency. Both portions must have been passed within the last 12 months when you apply. Source: Nevada Real Estate Division — Form 501: Real Estate Licensing Requirements (revised 08/01/2025) (2026-09-22) |

| Questions | At least 120 questions Scored items: 80 on the General (national) portion and 40 on the State portion. Unscored pretest items are added to each portion; the handbook gives 5-10 per portion in its time table and 5 for the national portion in its outline, so PrepPass states only the scored floor. | Passing score | 75% The score is reported as a percent of questions answered correctly. If you pass one portion and fail the other, you retake only the failed portion, within 12 months; after 12 months without passing both, the whole exam must be retaken. Each retake costs the same as the first attempt. Source: Pearson VUE — Nevada Real Estate Candidate Handbook #092900 (July 2025; content outlines #092901, 09/2025) (2026-09-22) |
| Fees |
Exam fees are paid to the Division, not at the test center, and the Division says exam payments are final and non-refundable. The salesperson licence fee is not shown: NRED's page and Form 501 give one figure and the Pearson handbook an older one. | Languages offered | Not published by Nevada Real Estate Division / Pearson VUE No exam language is stated. The handbook's only language provision is that candidates for whom English is a second language may request additional time; it lists no translated exam. PrepPass therefore names no exam language. - 2026-09-22Fact sheet created. Pre-licensing hours taken from NRED (120), not the handbook's stale 90; the licence fee is withheld because NRED and the handbook disagree.
