Passing scoreScaled score of 70 on a 0–100 scale

A scaled score of 70 is required on each portion, general and state. Pearson VUE says the scaled score is neither the number nor the percentage of questions answered correctly. A candidate who passes one portion retakes only the failed one, within six months; after that the whole exam must be retaken. A retake can be booked 24 hours after a fail.
