Ohm's Law and Power

Series and Parallel Circuits
Series resistances add directly; parallel resistances combine as 1/R_eq = sum of 1/R, always yielding a value smaller than the smallest branch. Kirchhoff's voltage and current laws enforce energy and charge conservation in networks.
AC and Three-Phase Power
AC circuits introduce reactance and impedance, with power factor describing the phase between voltage and current. Balanced three-phase systems deliver power efficiently for motors and distribution, using line-to-line and line-to-neutral relationships.
