Becoming Licensed

Continuing Education and Renewal
Missouri licenses are renewed on a biennial cycle. To renew on active status, licensees complete required continuing education for the period, including a Missouri Real Estate Commission core course covering current law and rules. Failing to complete continuing education or renew on time affects the license's active status.
Maintaining Good Standing
Beyond education and renewal, licensees must keep their information current with the Commission, work under an active broker, and comply with Chapter 339 and MREC rules.
