Iterations, flow, and WIP limits
Timeboxes are fixed periods, such as two-week iterations, in which scope flexes to fit the time. Kanban visualizes flow and applies work-in-progress limits to reduce multitasking and bottlenecks, improving throughput and predictability.
Transparency and hybrid delivery
Tools such as burndown charts show remaining work trending toward zero, making progress transparent. Many teams use hybrid approaches, blending predictive and agile practices, tailoring the mix to the needs of the project and organization.
