Present Simple and Third-Person -s
Habits use the present simple, and third-person singular subjects add -s: 'She goes to the gym every morning.' Time phrases like 'every morning' signal this tense.
Comparisons of Equality
To say two things are equal, use 'as ... as': 'as interesting as this one'. Both instances of 'as' are needed around the adjective.
Future Perfect and Conditionals
'By next June, I will have worked here for five years' uses the future perfect for an action completed by a future point. First conditionals keep the 'if' clause in the present: 'If it rains, we will cancel.'
