| Administering body | Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) — exam delivered by Pearson VUE The exam is computer-delivered at Pearson VUE testing centers; US candidates must test in the US (including territories) and Canadian candidates in Canada. | Passing score | Scaled score of 500 on a 200–800 scale 500 is ASPPB's recommended passing score for independent practice; ASPPB recommends 450 for supervised practice. Each licensing board sets the passing standard in its own jurisdiction. ASPPB states that all licensing authorities currently accept 500 for independent practice on Part 1, while the supervised-practice standard varies.
