Administering bodyVirginia State Corporation Commission, Bureau of Insurance — exam delivered by Prometric

The bulletin says the exam can be taken at any Prometric test center in the United States or remotely proctored through Prometric's ProProctor application. The Bureau's application page names a required pre-licensing course only for the Title licence (16 hours); it lists none for Life and Annuities or Health.

Questions150 questions (140 scored, 10 unscored pretest)

The outline heading reads "140 scored (10 pretest) questions". Its 16 content sections cite Virginia law inside the topics rather than as a separately counted part; Prometric's report to the Bureau says the general and Virginia portions are scored together as one exam. Pretest questions are not identified and do not count.
