The bulletin says "You must get 70% correct to pass the examination"; the same rule applies to each exam. There is no limit on retakes, but the pre-licensing certificate must still be valid, and a new appointment cannot be made on the same day as a failed attempt. After passing, the licence application must be made within 180 days.

Fees
  • $75 — Examination fee, per exam (Life 22-01 or Accident and Health or Sickness 22-03) (PSI Services LLC, per attempt) Source
  • $10 — Licence application fee (one application can cover several lines) (Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance, one-time) Source
  • $34.75 — Digital fingerprinting (Fieldprint, one-time) Source

The $75 exam fee is printed both in the bulletin and on OCI's exam page; a candidate for both lines pays it for each exam. The $10 application fee and the $34.75 fingerprint fee appear in both the bulletin and OCI's own pages. OCI's fee page also lists a "$75 Initial License Fee Per Line of Authority", which the bulletin does not mention; neither document says whether it is charged on top of the exam fee, so it is not listed as a fee here.
