Alcohol, drugs, and the law
In Indiana, it is illegal to drive with a BAC of 0.08 or higher if you are 21 or older, and a zero-tolerance limit of 0.02 applies to drivers under 21. Alcohol and many drugs impair judgment, reaction time, and vision. (Indiana Driver's Manual)
Implied consent
By driving in Indiana you give implied consent to chemical testing for alcohol or drugs when lawfully arrested. Refusing a test brings an automatic license suspension separate from any DUI penalty. (Indiana Driver's Manual)
