Immediate evacuation is required when there is fire or risk of fire, the smell of raw or leaking fuel, the bus is stopped over or near a railroad track, its position may shift and increase danger, or there is a risk of collision. In these cases staying aboard is more dangerous than leaving. In many other situations it is safer to remain on the bus.
