The cram packet: every figure the exam confuses, with a side to write it from memory
For the last fourteen days. Every day-count, dollar figure and percentage pulled out of its chapter and grouped by value, each inside the clause that makes it the right answer — then the same sheet again with the figures blanked.
- 198 rules with a figure or a contrast, pooled by value — the exam's own confusable sets side by side
- A RECALL twin of every sheet: same rules, same positions, every figure blanked — print double-sided
- Four routes through the same pages (14 days, 7, 3, tonight) and a fold-out exam-morning card

Every rule in this packet is free to read on PrepPass. Here is the one-page version, and every rule id in the packet links back to the free chapter that teaches it. What $9.99 buys is the arrangement: the figures pooled by value so the ones the exam sets against each other sit on the same sheet, a recall side to write each one instead of re-reading it, a route sized to the days you have, and the card you fold on the morning.

Two of the 60 pages are given away whole and legible, exactly as they print. The rest are shown at a size you cannot read — that is the only thing withheld.

What the 60 pages are
Sheets, reference + recall
- Days, hours & yearspp. 4–11
- Dollar figurespp. 12–15
- Percentagespp. 16–19
- Contractspp. 20–25
- Employmentpp. 26–31
- Financespp. 32–33
- Safetypp. 34–37
- Licensingpp. 38–43
- Insurancepp. 44–47
- Public workspp. 48–49
- Conceptspp. 50–59
198 rules with a figure or a contrast; 120 carry a blank on their recall side. The concept sheets are the 78 rules with no figure to blank — the ones the exam asks as scenarios — as a say-it-before-you-look self-test.
And the pages around them
- Coverp. 1
- Where the marks arep. 2
- Four routesp. 3
- Exam-morning cardp. 60
The card carries the 11figures two or more rules share, each as a complete sentence, and names what it left off and where to find it. The sections run in the board’s published weights, heaviest first — the packet does not claim to know which sections are your weaker ones.
How to print it
- US Letter, double-sided, flip on the long edge. Every REFERENCE sheet then has its RECALL twin on the back.
- Cut the card page (p. 60) on the solid line and fold on the dashes. It is the only page you carry on the morning.
- PDF only, on purpose. A fold-out card and a write-in blank have no reflowable form; an EPUB of this would be nothing.
The guide teaches it. This makes you recall it.
All seven sections explained, with worked examples and practice questions. Read this first, over weeks — it is the right buy when the exam is more than three weeks away.
See the study guide →No explanation, no prose. Only the figures and the contrasts, each inside its clause, with somewhere to write each one down — for the last fourteen days, or the last night.
California law changes
A cram sheet keeps the number and throws away the reasoning, which makes it the format that ages worst. Every page of this packet carries the date its figures were checked (2026-09-11) against the current statute and the CSLB’s own published material, and where the packet could not verify a figure the exam tests, it prints a blank and the section to check rather than a guess. Re-check anything you rely on at cslb.ca.gov. This is study material, not legal advice.
