Fees
  • $65 — Certification application processing fee (BACB, one-time)
  • $45 — Examination appointment fee (charged for every appointment, retakes included) (Pearson VUE, per attempt)
  • $50 — Recertification application processing fee (BACB, every two years, from 2026-01-01)

There is currently no BACB fee to submit a retake application, but a new Pearson VUE appointment fee applies to each attempt and a seven-day wait is required. RBT recertification moves from an annual to a two-year cycle from 2026, so an annual recertification figure is out of date.
