B&P §7152(a) defines the home improvement salesperson as a person who solicits, sells, negotiates, or executes home improvement contracts for a licensed contractor, and §7152(b) requires that person to register. §7152(d) then exempts an officer of record of a licensed corporation (or a manager, member, or officer of record of a licensed LLC), a general partner listed on a licensed partnership's record, and the qualifying person under §7025 — the exemption follows the person's status on the license record, not what the person's duties happen to be. (a), (b) and (d) each perform one of the four listed acts — soliciting, negotiating, executing — for the licensee, so each must register.
