Rules of the Road & Right of Way
At an intersection with no signs or signals where two vehicles arrive together, you should:
- AGo first if your vehicle is larger
- BYield to the vehicle on your left
- CYield to the vehicle on your rightCorrect
- DSpeed up to clear the intersection
Why: At an uncontrolled intersection, give the right of way to the vehicle approaching from your right. (SGI)
Signs & Signals
What must you do at a red, eight-sided (octagonal) STOP sign?
- ASlow down and roll through if clear
- BCome to a complete stop, then go when it is safeCorrect
- CStop only if another vehicle is present
- DYield without stopping
