Is the whole course really free?+

The videos and the practice questions are free in full — no email wall, no payment. So is the core of all 7 written chapters: every rule, the conditions it turns on, and the contrasts the exam tests. What the paid PDF + EPUB adds is the rest of each chapter — the exemption and discipline catalogs, the statutory detail, and each chapter's key numbers and deadlines sheet.

How many lessons are there, and when do new ones come out?+

Seven — one for each section of the CSLB Law & Business exam. Lessons publish on a rolling basis; subscribe on YouTube to catch each new one the day it drops.

Is the course up to date with 2026 law?+

Yes. Every dollar figure, deadline, and code section is written to California law in force for 2026 — including the numbers many older guides get wrong (the $1,000 minor-work threshold, the $25,000 bond, the 2026 fees).

Does this replace the trade exam?+

No. This covers the Law & Business half of licensure. You still take your trade (classification) exam separately. This is independent study prep and does not issue a license.
