The Four Dimensions of Service Management

ITIL 4 defines four dimensions of service management. Which is the correct complete set?

  1. AStrategy, design, transition, operation
  2. BPeople, process, products, partners
  3. CPlan, do, check, act
  4. DOrganizations & people; information & technology; partners & suppliers; value streams & processesCorrect

Why: The four dimensions of service management are: organizations and people; information and technology; partners and suppliers; and value streams and processes. All four must be considered to ensure a holistic approach to products and services. Neglecting any dimension can lead to services that fail to deliver expected value.

ITIL Practices

According to ITIL 4, what is the purpose of the incident management practice?

  1. ATo authorize and control changes to services
  2. BTo minimize the negative impact of incidents by restoring normal service operation as quickly as possibleCorrect
  3. CTo handle predefined user service requests
  4. DTo reduce the likelihood and impact of incidents by identifying root causes

Why: The purpose of incident management is to minimize the negative impact of incidents by restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible. An incident is an unplanned interruption to a service or a reduction in its quality. The focus is on rapid restoration, which may involve a workaround, rather than on finding the underlying cause.

Asked before starting.

Is the practice really free, or does it stop after a few questions?
